Millikin University offers two courses on haiku taught by Dr. Randy Brooks, Director of Millikin's writing major.

In the fall semester, students may enroll in a one credit editing workshop, the Haiku Writing Roundtable, English 170.

In the spring semester and through Millikin's PACE program, students may enroll in a three credit course, The Global Haiku Tradition, English 340 (also cross-listed as Interdepartmental 350 Global Studies). In this course students study the history of haikai traditions in Japan and the spread of haiku as a genre throughout the world in the twentieth century.
